Bagel City, located in the heart of Rockville, MD has been serving bagels for more then 35 years to the Washington Metropolitan Area. Our history for preparing bagels goes back more then a century ago. 130 years Moshe Zlatnicov of Kiev, Ukraine created the Zlotnick recipe. Moshe trained his son Abraham and then passed his recipe to him. Abraham brought the Zlotnick recipe to the United States. Abraham after training his son Aaron, passed the Zlotnick recipe to his son's care. Aaron in turn mentored his son Irv, who with his wife Helen trained George and his family with this recipe. George is now providing to the community a bagel you can trust, savor that no other bagelry can match in taste, texture and appearance.

A bagel landmark in the DC area, and a diamond in the strip mall rough of Rockville. Best bagels ever? No, but DC isn't really a bagel town, and Bagel City is among the best of the bunch. Some of the best veggie cream cheese I've ever had, big chunks of vegetables in it, just the way I like it. Also, very good pastries! Rugelach is great, so is the black and white cookie. If you're looking for lunch in Rockville, why go anywhere else? Sarah W. Los Angeles, CA
The Best Bagels in Maryland in my opinion. The garlic bagels are phenomenal. I always come here for breakfast. The bagel eggwich with cheddar is my favorite. The veggie cream cheese is also really good. Lauren C. Washington, DC
Whenever I'm in Rockville, this is where I go for bagels. They're much better than most of what you can find in the area. I've gotten both everything and salt. Nothing mind blowing, but a good, decent bagel. Their coffee isn't bad either (but, notice, I didn't say it was GOOD exactly...) Christine G., Washington, DC
